Clearance requirements are 12" on sides, 6" on back and 48" from top to ceiling. The fireplace does not need to be placed on any special surface, as the included legs provide adequate clearance on the floor. If placed diagonally in a corner, the back corners should be at least 10" from the walls.

A powerful blower fan is available, too. It can be installed right away, or easily added later.
