These stainless steel filter bodies can be configured with two or four ceramic candles. Each body comes with
two plugs so you can plug the unused holes if you run it on just two candles. More candles simply mean faster
water production. The top (unfiltered) compartment and bottom (filtered) compartment each hold about 2.25 gallons. Choose between the white CeraSyl Plus Ceramic Candles with activated charcoal centers, or the new CeraCarb Black Ceramic Candles that have the best chemical-removal capabilities in the market today. The CeraCarb candles remove everything the CeraSyl Plus candles do, but they also remove Heavy Metals, Lead and Arsenic from water. Note that the CeraCarb candles take longer to process the water, so pay attention to the water production rates in the listings. The filter bodies below are plastic and are manufactured in the USA by a company that makes containers for food
processing, so the plastic is all food-grade. These filter bodies can be configured with up to 5 ceramic candles.
Each body comes with rubber plugs so you can plug the unused holes if you run it on fewer than 5 candles. More candles simply mean faster
water production. The top (unfiltered) compartment and bottom (filtered) compartment each hold about 3.5 gallons.
